Blessed Samhain
As light does die and fade,
So does summer pass away.
Honored ancestors, spirits, fae,
All are welcomed on their way.
We are glad to open our home,
But demand the malicious to move along.
We remember these who’ve passed away:
Parham, Pollye, Michaelangelo, Trudy, Layla, James Luther
And those we didn’t know in life, but whose lives are part of us still.
And to our Gods tonight who roam,
Please pass gently over our home.
We honor You in all Your glory,
Dark and bright and beautiful and gory.
We ask You make our spirits strong,
As its Your path we walk along.
