Hello, darlings…

Sorry I have been MIA lately.  A shocking thing happened last week – I got sick.  Like, running a fever sick.  And that doesn’t happen.  I mean, as you’ve seen, I get the yuckies, but I very rarely run a fever.  Even my mom was like “seriously?!”  Last Wednesday, I felt the fever coming on, so I wrapped up and did what I could to break it quickly.  And then I slept.  And I fell down the stairs (it’s okay, didn’t fall far and it scared/embarrassed me more than anything). And I slept.  And I slept.  In two days (Sat and Sun) I slept a total of 30+ hours and even when I was awake, I wasn’t really awake, but in twilight sleep.  It’s been a weird few days for me.

But, the good news is that I am better and can sit without falling asleep and have eaten more than breakfast for two days running!  Oh, and I discovered ESPN for the XBox – which means I get my sports fix.  ^__^  I’ve been watching English Premier League (soccer) – go Man U!  Okay, I actually discovered the ESPN app last week, but was stuck watching some Spanish league (from Spain, so the announcers were actually Brits, so at least I understood the banter) I’d never heard of; but today I actually spent some time figuring out how it works, so I’ve got games saved and I can go back and watch recent games.  Of course, I also have it set up so I can watch NCAA baseball, Alabama football, USM Golden Eagle football (the college I used to work for), Braves baseball, White Sox baseball, Greenbay Packers, and NO Saints.  ^__^  All my sports needs, queued up for my enjoyment!  Woot.

SO that’s what’s up right now.  I’ve been doing some examinations of my beliefs, firming up some conclusions and I’ll take some time to write-up my thoughts.  And, hey, Saturday is St. Pat’s day – so I’ll have a nice write-up of my stand on St. Pat’s and why I, as a Pagan *gasp* actually celebrate!  In the mean time, thanks for your patience with my absenteeism lately.  And, as always,
