I have not been doing well! I mean, do you know, we celebrated our one year anniversary of quitting smoking? ON THE 9th! That’s right, one of my greatest achievements, and I completely missed talking about it. And I’ve been meaning to! And, then, more recently, I added a music player to my page (it’s down at the bottom). Completely spaced on that one. And finally? I completely failed to brag to everyone that it was my beloved husband’s 27th birthday yesterday! And he was working all day, so it’s not like I didn’t have time to! I should be flogged. Or at least harshly scolded. Or maybe just mildly rebuffed.
In my defense, the only computer currently working is the dell I got for Christmas my senior year of high school (that would be Christmas 2002) and three of its keys don’t work. So when I need to use them, I paste GgHh'” and then delete what I don’t need. Every. Single. Time. We’re planning on getting a new USB keyboard – even have it picked out – but we’re stuck trying to get caught up with the truck problems (have I mentioned it has started overheating again? yeah, we get to go back and raise hell at the GM place tomorrow) and getting our credit cards paid off. It’s happening, just more slowly than my charts had originally projected. We will have our bills paid off and Joshwa’s student loan turned over to another (lower interest rate) creditor before Christmas, meaning all of our credit will be in good standing again. Of course, once Joshwa gets his promotion (no later than the beginning of June, they’re telling us), we might be able to get it paid off faster. We’ll see.
So, enough complaining. I’ve told you about our 1 year no-smoking (except for the two days around Christmas when I realized I really am over it) anniversary – yay! I told you about my Joshwa’s birthday – yay! And I told you about the new music player. Now, I realize this may not be popular with everyone, but I couldn’t resist when I came across a site using the same player that had some songs I really enjoy. ^__^ If you don’t like it, I am sorry. Jump to the bottom and hit STOP. If nothing else, it’ll give you a glimpse into my eclectic music tastes (yes, a glimpse….I got tired so I stopped at my favorite types of music. ^__^
Now, I have to go see what steps we can take to get the GM place to work on our truck for at least a reduced price, since they told us it was fixed. We’ll see. Wish me luck. Brightest blessings!
