Lovely day

We had a lovely day today.  Joshwa’s dad and brother stopped by to see us.  It was only a brief stop between seeing his younger brother in Tennessee and his sister in Mississippi because we don’t have kids yet and they each do.  If it was just the kids, it’d be one thing, but it’s the grandkids.  He’s got three granddaughters and they’re the love of his life. We’re hoping to give him some grandsons (what can I say, I’m an old-fashioned southern girl – gotta have boys to pass the name on), but I’d just settle for one – no matter what kind!  I’d never cooked for Dad before, so it was nice.  We made baked chicken and marinara and angel hair.  I think I did good (Joshwa made the chicken) since he cleaned his plate!  I know my bro-in-law liked it.  Mike always cleans his plate when I cook!

So, other than that….oh!  I’ve decided on a project I want to do.  I’m looking for an old bird feeder or bird house – the big ones that are like a foot square – so I can make a fairy house.  A bit of paint and pretty, some flowers, and a bit of magic.  We’ve had a little…playful mischief lately, and I want to do what I can to keep it playful.  I still haven’t gotten batteries for our camera yet, but once I do, the fairy house will be on my list of things to put up.  ^__^

Now, I’m about to go through all my posts and find everything I told you I’d expand upon later.  Since it seems that now is later, I’ll work on getting that for you.  For now, I’m going to have some ice cream.  Or sherbet.  It’s orange sherbet.  I’m a huge fan.  ^__^  Maybe I’ll flip a coin.  *wanders off mumbling*  Brightest Blessings.

Please, let me know what you think!
